July 29, 2008 Water Pressure May be Affected on Lower West Side
The Saint John Port Authority wishes to advise the residents of Saint John and in particular those residing on the lower west side, of planned water flow testing to be conducted this Thursday, July 31st. The tests are being conducted as a required safety measure to ensure that water flow entering the Port is sufficient to utilize in the event of a large scale fire.
Household water will be safe to use but residents may experience reduced water pressure as well as water discolouration between the hours of 8am and 12 noon.
