Port Saint John Opens Lower Cove for Residents Parking to Assist City of Saint John with Local State of Emergency

SAINT JOHN (NB) – Due to the declaration of a local state of emergency for the South Central Peninsula, Port Saint John has offered the City of Saint John use of Lower Cove to provide additional parking alternatives for residents.

Residents may access this area via the gate on Broad Street at Charlotte Street.

The area is currently being cleared of snow and once clear should be able to hold several hundred cars.

Parking at this location will be available until the local state of emergency is lifted by the City of Saint John.

Port Saint John is Eastern Canada’s largest port by tonnage and has a diverse cargo base, including dry and liquid bulk, break bulk, containers, and cruise.
