Port Saint John Congratulates City of Saint John on Announcement on Initial Work for Fundy Quay

Port Saint John congratulates the City of Saint John on today’s funding announcement made together with the Federal and Provincial government representatives and Fundy Quay developer Dr. David Elias.  We are excited that this funding will enable important initial project work to move forward in 2021.Port Saint John is pleased to see the Fundy Quay development begin this year, adding to and improving existing spaces for public use on our waterfront and complementing the many developments that have been occurring along Harbour Passage and our own developments at the Marco Polo and Diamond Jubilee Cruise Terminals.Developing this part of our waterfront adds a missing piece and will connect well with adjacent Port Saint John properties serving the cruise market.  When the time is right for cruise ships, guests and crew to return, this development will be an added enhancement to their experience while our community will be able to enjoy the development year-round.
